For the Artist With 47 Unfinished Projects: A Creative Focus Reset

You're not lacking talent. You're not lacking ideas. You might even have too many.

What you're missing is focus and this course is built to give it back to you.

Sound familiar?

You sit down to work and within minutes you're second-guessing yourself. Should you finish the piece you started last week? Start the new idea that's been nagging at you? Or maybe just do a little research first?

An hour later you've done a little of everything and finished nothing.

You're not lazy. You're not undisciplined. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with your creativity.

But something is pulling you off track. And until you know what it is, and what to do about it, it's going to keep happening.

That's exactly what this course addresses.

For the Artist With 47 Unfinished Projects is a short, practical mini-course built specifically for artists who are ready to stop spinning and start finishing. It combines evidence-based tools with the kind of honest, personal guidance that only comes from someone who has lived this problem themselves.

What You'll Cover

Module 1: Find Your Creative Core Before you can focus, you need to know what you're focusing on. In this module you'll dig beneath the surface of your work to identify the deep, consistent purpose that makes your art unmistakably yours. When you know your Creative Core, decisions get easier, distractions get quieter, and your work gets stronger.

Module 2: Catch What Pulls You Off Track Creative distraction rarely announces itself. It creeps in quietly — as self-doubt, as the urge to start something new, as the feeling that you're just not ready yet. In this module you'll learn to recognise your own distraction patterns early, before they take hold and pull you away from the work that matters.

Module 3: Use the Clarity Reset This is your practical toolkit. A simple, repeatable process you can use the moment you feel yourself drifting to pause, reorient, and return to your Creative Core with confidence. You'll use this tool for the rest of your creative life.

Who This Is For

This course is for you if:

  • You have more unfinished projects than you'd like to admit

  • You regularly feel pulled in too many creative directions

  • Self-doubt quietly talks you out of your best work

  • You want a practical, evidence-based approach, not just inspiration

  • Practical, doable strategies, not just some theory.

Who This Is Not For

This course is not for you if you're looking for a quick motivational boost. This is practical, reflective work. It asks something of you. But what you get back is worth it.

Enrol in For the Artist With 47 Unfinished Projects: A Creative Focus Reset

Hi. I’m Dr. Bob

That's me in my studio — where I've had to learn, sometimes the hard way, how to manage the challenges of being a working artist.

Here's something that might surprise you. Even after years as a psychologist, I struggled with creative anxiety and low artistic confidence. I knew exactly what was happening in my mind. I just couldn't seem to stop it.

Sound familiar?

Eventually I figured it out. I found focus, rebuilt my confidence, and got back to making work I'm genuinely proud of. Today I'm selling work, growing my community, and — most importantly — enjoying the journey again.

But here's what drove me to create Creative Momentum Lab.

I kept meeting creatives just like you — artists, musicians, authors — who were bright, talented, and passionate, but quietly struggling with distraction, self-doubt, and a nagging feeling that they weren't living up to their own creative potential. Just like I used to.

So I decided to do something about it.

Creative Momentum Lab brings together everything I've learned — both personally and professionally — into short, practical courses and honest conversations about the real challenges of creative life. Evidence-based tools, yes. But delivered with warmth, humour, and the understanding of someone who has genuinely been where you are.

You can do this. I know because I did.

I hope to meet you inside the course.

FAQs - Any Questions?

You mention competence. How do I get better at my artistic activity? If I’m an author, for example, can you help me be a better writer? No. This course will help you learn the skills of building confidence but if you need help learning some specific technical skills, you’ll need to seek out that knowledge with a mentor or classes specific to your area.

Is this therapy? No. Therapy aims to address mental health concerns and promote well-being through a structured, therapeutic relationship with a health professional, while an online course provides educational content and skills development and support without therapeutic intervention. Dr. Bob is retired from his profession, and is no longer a registered health professional.

What happens when this course ends? You can access all the material whenever you need to. Your membership gives you lifetime access.

Do I have to pay all the cost up-front? No. You can pay in two instalments with no extra administrative fee

Can I get my money back? Yes. If you’ve put effort into the course and you still haven’t seen improvement, then, after a conversation with us, we will refund your money (less a small admin fee to cover costs).

Is this course tax-deductible? Yes. We aren’t tax experts, so you should really consult with a tax expert, but most tax jurisdictions allow you to expense an activity, like a course, if you doing the activity ultimately to help you earn income. And most jurisdictions allow you to do this for a period of time before you earn money, if your intention is to earn income like selling art, books, or playing music for money.

What is the culture? The culture we create is a supportive, helpful one. We need to help build each other up, strengthen our skills, and acknowledge each others’ progress when they take action to build confidence. Above all, this is a place to learn, find support, get feedback, and feel inspired. I'd encourage you to post questions big or small and to offer feedback to your peers in a helpful, constructive way.

Still not sure? Here’s a little questionnaire to help you know if the course is right for you. Mini-Self-Assessment
